Earlier today People.com shared country singer-songwriter Jackie Lee’s story of his recent battle with cancer and the incredible song that came out of that dark time.  The piece explains the uncharted territory Lee had to face after going his mother’s battle with ovarian cancer.  The song “Long Year” is a sorrowful lyric, addressed to his mother, wishing she was there to comfort him and give him answers, while the video chronicles each day of his chemotherapy treatment.
