Jackie Lee Returns with Brand New Song “After Loving You”

Jackie Lee shares brand new song, “After Loving You,” available now, December 5th on all streaming platforms. Listen to the new track below.

Country music has always been synonymous with truth-telling, a genre full of story-tellers at heart. Today, Jackie Lee exemplifies the sentiments with his return to country music after a hiatus. Lee’s new song, “After Loving You” is officially out now.

Fully invested in creating music that feels authentic to his story, Lee’s new song is one of the most heartfelt tracks of the year. “After Loving You” is an emotionally-charged story from a son grappling with the loss of his late mother. The singer-songwriter lost his mother to her battle with cancer several years ago and has had to navigate that tragedy with helping his father find love again. Written by the singer with Jeremy Bussey, “After Loving You,” is that honest and vulnerable story.

When asked about the song, Lee shared, “‘After Loving You’ sums up life after my mom went to heaven. There’ve been more questions than answers at the end of a lot of days, but being able to share this song with the public in so many ways allows my family and me to finally close this chapter of grief and open up a hopeful new one. I hope this song means as much to all of you as it does to me.”

For anyone who has gone through a tremendous loss or for anyone who finds healing in music, “After Loving You” is for you. Make sure to listen to Lee’s new song!
