HARDY Named Vevo DSCVR Artist & Releases Two Live Videos

HARDY VEVO

This past week Vevo DSCVR has teamed up with another rising force in country music, HARDY. Vevo teams up with emerging artists and through new performance content, they share these upcoming talents with the world.

HARDY came out with two brand new videos for “Rednecker” and “4×4,” two hits off his THIS OLE BOY EP. “4X4” calls out the boys that think they are country just by driving a big truck and tells about all the situations a 4X4 is good for. From getting out from a ditch to shedding light on the real reason girls love big pickups, HARDY knows how to get it done. The song highlights a lot of rock elements while still sticking true to the singer’s roots.

Everyone should know that HARDY is rednecker than all of us and his song proves that. The Big Loud artist grew up in Philadelphia, Miss., a town of about 7,500 in the country setting of Neshoba County. So when he sings about being from a small town, you know he is telling the truth. Fitted with red lights and a camo hat, the “Rednecker” celebrates all the ways he is country without a doubt. From killing copperheads, flinging dirt, sitting in lawn chairs drinking or mudding, people are catching on to HARDY’s way of life and the song is soaring up the charts.

Past rising country artists to work with VEVO are Devin Dawson, Brandon Lay, and Mitchell Tenpenny. The family at Vevo works hands-on with each artist to ensure they are getting the most reach with each venture as a team. Between these new killer videos, touring with Florida Georgia Line on the Can’t Say I Ain’t Country Tour, and HARDY’s latest EP Where To Find Me, he is on a roll this year with no signs of stopping. The singer-songwriter is putting out true country music with a clear refreshing artist identity. We caught up with HARDY before his set last weekend out on Long Island, watch the full interview below.
