Cole Swindell Releases “Right Where I Left It” from his Down Home Sessions

Cole Swindell Right Where I Left It

The fourth song of Cole Swindell’s fifth EP Down Home Sessions V is here. Written by Swindell, Cole Taylor, and Michael Carter, “Right Where I Left It” is a song everyone who has moved away from home can relate to.

When you’re younger, you can’t wait to move away as far as possible and start your new adventure. However, once you get that freedom, it’s easy to get lost in all the action and lose perspective of who you are. This track reminds you that no matter how long it takes to go back, your hometown is always going to be there for you and allow you to find your true self again.

“Is right where I left it / Since I left it ain’t changed at all / I guess sometimes you don’t know / What you got till you’re gone / Couldn’t wait to get out / Had to chase some dreams down / Ain’t it funny how I found all I needed / Right where I left it”

This is the fourth song released from the EP as Swindell has released one song a month since June. We can’t wait for the entire EP to be released in October.

After a busy summer, the singer-songwriter has no plans of slowing down. Swindell is currently on the Luke Bryan Farm Tour with Mitchell Tenpenny, DJ Rock, and Bryan. He also has quite a few solo dates coming up. Find out if the Georgia native is coming to a city near you by checking out
