Today, the singer-songwriter releases his first single under the new label. “GOOD DAMN” is officially out now.

Written by Gilbert with Brock Berryhill, Taylor Phillips, and HARDY, “GOOD DAMN” is easily one of the best songs in the singer’s catalog. Full of simmering romance, swagger, and story-telling, the new song captures the tension and the spark of the one that got away.  “It’s a song about shooting your shot. Long story short.”” shared Gilbert in a recent press release. “We weren’t really trying to write a number one because we didn’t ever think we’d get one. We were just trying to write a good song, and that was the approach I can honestly say we took on the majority of these,” Gilbert recently told Katie Neal when discussing his upcoming album. “It was more about, ‘hey, let’s write a cool song and let it be what it wants to be.’”
