Blake Shelton to Host “Elvis All-Star Tribute”

Platinum-selling country star, Blake Shelton has taken on the role of hosting the “Elvis All-Star Tribute” concert special, to honor the King of Rock and Roll, Elvis Presley. Recently celebrating it’s 50-year-anniversary, artists from a variety of genres will take part in paying homage to Presley’s 1968 iconic television special ’68 Comeback Special’ by performing a collection of his original hits. The 1968 Comeback Special was the first live performance from the “King” in seven years, after putting music on hold to pursue his acting career. The two-hour-long tribute concert will not only feature the in-the-round style stage used in the original production but also acknowledge other highlights in Presley’s astonishing career.

The star-studded lineup features solo performances from a number of country stars, as well as some surprising duets. A full list of performances is below.

“Elvis All-Star Tribute” will air Sunday, February 17th on NBC from 9 p.m. – 11 p.m. ET. Check back with NYCountry Swag for a recap of the special night.
