Wes Cook Band “I Stand For The Flag” Puts Facebook Under Scrutiny

Nashville based Wes Cook Band released their “I Stand For The Flag” single and video on Monday to coincide with the Fourth of July holiday.  The patriotic song which promotes equality and loving the country we live in was flagged by Facebook when they would not allow the band to boost the video, stating it contained political content.  The band went on to perform the song live on Fox & Friends and sit down with news broadcasters to explain their stance that the song is patriotic, not political. The chorus lyrics state “Don’t care if you’re black or white or who you love, I stand for the Flag and the Flag stands for all of us.”

Check out the video above and follow the band on their social media platforms such as Facebook, Twitter,  and Instagram.
