Taylor Dye of Maddie & Tae Engaged to Songwriter Josh Kerr
Labor Day proved to be quite the exciting holiday for Taylor Dye, one half of female country duo Maddie & Tae. Her boyfriend, hit songwriter Josh Kerr popped the question, asking her to marry him and spend their lives together. In a series of pictures, they both recounted the special moment which took place on the new porch of their new home. “Bought the house. got the ring. asked her dad. got the girl. Forever started Sept 2nd. For those familiar with Maddie & Tae but not Josh Kerr, he is a songwriter and producer signed to Black River Publishing in Nashville, TN. He has multiple number 1 songs including“Love Me Like You Mean It” and “Dibs” co-written and recorded by Kelsea Ballerini and “My Girl” co-written and recorded by Dylan Scott. Most recently he has had success with Keith Urban’s “Never Coming Home” and has worked across genres with pop star Camilla Cabello, Geoff Warburton, Hannah Kerr, and for KING & COUNTRY.
Maddie & Tae are currently direct support on Carrie Underwood’s Cry Pretty 360 Tour along with Runaway June. The tour hits our area next month stopping at the iconic Madison Square Garden on October 2nd.
