Kane Brown Performs “Lose It” on LIVE with Kelly and Ryan

Country star, Kane Brown is in New York City this week to celebrate the upcoming release of his sophomore album, Experiment, dropping on November 9th. Check back for our First Impression Review of the album on Friday. Today, the singer-songwriter, visited co-hosts, Kelly Ripa and Ryan Seacrest on ABC’s ‘LIVE with Kelly and Ryan’ to close out the show.

Seacrest gave a warm introduction to the singer’s performance, “Our next guest recently took home three American Music Awards, including one for ‘Favorite Male Artist.’ His sophomore album drops this Friday. Here’s Kane Brown with his new hit “Lose It.” Kane, take it away.” The crowd immediately erupted into screams and applause, as Brown appeared on stage, mic in hand, with a five-piece band to back him up. “Everybody, stand up for me, c’mon,” the singer exclaimed, just before singing the opening lyrics to his new song, “Lose It.”

The always stylish, personable, and edgy singer had a blast on the stage, showcasing some of his signature dance moves and showcasing his raspy, deep voice to belt the lyrics to the newly released song. The entertainer has also dropped his tracks, “Good As You,” and “Short Skirt Weather” off his sophomore record. Although Brown was clearly center of attention, he gave the guitarists some time to shine, as they shredded the guitar strings, adding killer instrumentals to the performance.

This performance, which you can check out above, gave fans a taste of what the entertainer’s live shows and recently announced 2019 tour, ‘Live Forever Tour’ will be like. The headlining tour will feature country singers, Granger Smith, Raelynn, Danielle Bradbery, and Jimmie Allen on select dates, as direct support. New Yorkers who were lucky enough to score tickets for Brown’s special one-night-only concert in collaboration with Budweiser at the Hulu Theater at Madison Square Garden on November 7th, will sure to witness some of the new tracks live, just prior to album release day. Find tickets for the show here.

Jennifer Nettles Collaborates with Josh Groban on Morning Television

This has been the year of mixing genres for song collaborations. From The Chainsmokers with Kelsea Ballerini to Florida Georgia Line and Bebe Rexha, combining musical acts has proven to have mainstream success. Sugarland’s Jennifer Nettles combined her talents with Pop music sensation Josh Groban in a new song off his newly released studio album Bridges entitled “99 Years.”

Nettles took the stage on LIVE With Kelly & Ryan for the second time this year with a  new duo partner, Groban. Early Friday morning (Sept 21), the duo performed “99 Years” for a live studio audience. The singers showcased their vast talents and extraordinary voices in the love song.

“Will we look back down on 99 years of a wonderful life / Where we laughed till we cried and our love was stronger with every fight / There’ll be a thousand moments for you to say ‘I told you’ / And a million more for us to say ‘I love you’/ So let’s look forward to you and I look back / At 99 years like that”

The songstress took to Twitter the day before, to remind fans not to miss the television performance, “Tomorrow, I’m singing a beautiful song called “99 Years” with a lovely human called [Josh Groban], to celebrate the release of his new album … Set your alarm. Set your DVR. Set your intentions. Set your curls.”

If you missed the stellar performance, check it out here. The song is available everywhere you buy or stream music today.

Nettles just wrapped up her Sugarland “Still the Same Tour,” with duet partner Kristian Bush earlier this month. Currently, there are no additional tour dates.

Superstar country duo, Sugarland, hit the stage on ABC-TV’s Live with Kelly and Ryan yesterday, performing the title track from their new album, Bigger.  Click here to watch their performance.
Dressed in all black with hints of glitter and gold, the duo shined on the uptempo ode to rising above adversity and self-doubt to find better days. Backed by a five-piece band and one background vocalist, Jennifer Nettles took center stage, as usual, her distinct vocal styling and undeniable presence the focal point. While its hard to look away from Nettles during this performance or any, Kristian Bush holds his own, providing vocals and always appearing to be having the time of his life on-stage.
The pair previously appeared on Live in May, performing the album’s first single, “Still the Same,” and premiering the quirky, “Babe,” which features Taylor Swift.  Lyrically, “Bigger” focuses on a message of hope, one that can be found throughout Sugarland’s new album.
“It’s getting harder and harder to hold our heads up high/ Baby let’s circle the wagons / Show all the dragons they don’t own the sky / We know how to fly / Gravity can’t hold us down / We’re moving at the speed of sound / Past the point from here on out / There’s no going back / ‘Cause we were born for better days / We’ll find a way yeah / We’re gonna be bigger”
Bigger, released in June on Big Machine Machine Label Group, is Sugarland’s first album release as a duo since 2010’s The Incredible Machine. During their hiatus from the band, both Nettles and Bush released solo albums and pursued outside opportunities, including a stint in Broadway’s “Chicago” for Nettles.
Sugarland will continue its Still the Same tour with upcoming stops in Wichita, KS, Highland Park, IL, St. Paul, MN and Grand Island, NE. The duo will take the New York area by storm with a show at New Jersey’s Prudential Center on September 8. Get tickets here!
