To celebrate the release of their newest album, Can’t Say I Ain’t Country, platinum-selling duo, Florida Georgia Line is in New York City to promote their record. Their first stop included performing their hit “Talk You Out of It” on ‘The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon’ at midnight.

Host Fallon excitedly announced the duo’s performance, just before they took the stage. Record in hand he shared, “Performing “Talk You Out of It.” from their new album, Can’t Say I Ain’t Country, out now! Give it up for Florida Georgia Line.”

With a hazy and steamy looking backdrop and a peek of their band, the duo took front and center. Hubbard’s smooth and sultry vocals were evident as he began to sing the first verse of the song, while Kelley’s harmonies and unique swagger added to the performance. As a nod to their love of blending sounds and different genres together, the duo blended their fashion as well, with Kelley dressed in a cowboy hat and denim, and Hubbard donning a more hip-hop inspired look. Whatever the case, their signature fashion and vocal style were on full display during the entire performance. The boys embodied the essence of the music video for “Talk You Out of It” perfectly. They ended their performance thanking the audience, who immediately erupted into applause. Check out the clip below to see for yourself.

Fans can catch Florida Georgia Line on their ‘Can’t Say I Ain’t Country Tour’ kicking off this summer, accompanied by Dan + Shay and Morgan Wallen, as well as, special guests, HARDY and Cannan Smith at select shows. Pistol Annies Perform on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon

Last night, the talented women of Pistol Annies graced the stage of The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon and sang one of their new songs “Best Years of My Life” from their highly anticipated third album Interstate Gospel out today, November 2nd.

The country trio comprised of Miranda Lambert (Lone Star Annie), Ashley Monroe (Hippie Annie), and Angaleena Presley (Holler Annie) sing a beautifully somber ballad about what life is really like for someone despite the expectations or hopes they once had.

Monroe sets the tone of the song with opening lyrics “I picked a good day for a recreational Percocet, I’ve got an itch to just get high. I am in the middle of the worst of it, these are the best years of my life.”

Following Presley’s delicate voice continues the painful reality we are sometimes faced with by singing “I’ve got the hankering for intellectual emptiness, I’ve got the need to ease my mind. I’ll watch some re-runs on the TV set, these are the best years of my life.”

Lambert explained their inspiration behind the song saying “It is a song about everybody, just someone that is trying to do their best and maybe it is not working as well as they wanted it to,” as the idea came from a Mom’s perspective inspired by her friend.

Pistol Annies will be playing tonight in NYC at a sold-out show at Town Hall, check our Instagram Stories for videos from the show. Be sure to get a copy of their album Interstate Gospel where you buy or stream music.

Carrie Underwood Is a Part of The Tonight Show History

Last week, The Tonight show host Jimmy Fallon swapped out his space at 30 Rock for Central Park, making this the first ever late night television to do so. Country superstar Carrie Underwood was a part of history appearing on the episode with Blake Lively, the New York Philharmonic and of the course The Roots. The late show took place at Rumsey Playfield, aka Summer Stage, to an audience of over 1,500 people, making this The Tonight show’s biggest audience yet. If you didn’t get a chance to catch the episode when it aired, here’s a recap!

Fallon kicked off the night with the special edition of the name that song challenge, where The Roots and the New York Philharmonic played one instrument at a time to create the beat of a song until someone guessed it. The teams were, Jimmy Fallon with Blake Lively and Carrie Underwood with special guest Henry Golding. Underwood being a musician herself had the advantage and guessed the majority of the songs right but somehow Fallon turned the game in his favor making his team the winner.

When it came time for the interview portion, Fallon introduced his next guest, “One of the biggest names in music and a 7-time Grammy winner, her album Cry Pretty is available right now! Welcome, Carrie Underwood!” Putting the country superstar in the hot seat before she took to the stage to perform. Underwood talked about her pregnancy and her 3 1⁄2-year-old son Isaiah, who she hopes one day will be a singer just like her. It was also mentioned that she co-produced the record with the incredible writer and producer, David Garcia. She described the experience as, “It’s really exciting cause you get to get in there, and you’re, you know, there for every step of the way and making the creative decisions…But it was just amazing to, like watch the musicians at work, and I gained such a bigger respect for what they do.” Taking on the role was a great experience for the singer and when asked which song is her favorite on the album she said, “Depends on the day”, which all of us can relate to.

Last but not least, it was the moment everyone was waiting for, “Here with the T.V. debut performance of her new single, “Love Wins” from her album Cry Pretty once again, Carrie Underwood!” She took the stage in a beautiful all black outfit, giving the audience a performance to never forget. As the camera panned out each person had a pink bracelet or a pink foam stick, making the crowd illuminate in a beautiful sea of waving pink lights. As always, her vocal range showed off her undeniable talent with her power ballad. Underwood gave her all while performing, leaving the crowd with goosebumps, wanting more.

The country superstar gave everyone a taste of what to expect from her at her concerts and luckily as New Yorkers, we can experience The Cry Pretty Tour 360 with special guests Maddie & Tae and Runaway June at the iconic Madison Square Garden on October 2, 2019. While we wait for the show to roll around, we can listen to her sixth studio album, Cry Pretty, that is out now!

[Watch] Ashley McBryde & Chris Lane Head to Late Night Television

Country music took late night television by storm last night, Chris Lane and Tori Kelly performed their captivating love song “Take Back Home Girl” on The Tonight Show starring Jimmy Fallon. Lane started the song solo, singing the opening verse and chorus while Kelly’s angelic harmonies complimented the pop-country crossover song. The camera then pans to the steps of the audience where Kelly stands to sing the second verse, then joins Lane on the main stage for the remainder of the song.

Ashley McBryde also graced America’s late night TV last night on Jimmy Kimmel Live singing the debut single “A Little Dive Bar in Dahlonega” from her latest album Girl Going NowhereMcBryde looked incredible in a silver bomber jacket with a band t-shirt underneath and her smile at the very opening chords of the song lit up the entire room. A third of the way through the song the band stops playing, McBryde drops her hand from the guitar, the band gets quiet as she sings acapella to start the final chorus and as the band comes back in to finish, they rock together for the rest of the song.
