Sean Stemaly Releases New Song, “Hello, You Up”

Sean Stemaly’s new song, “Hello, You Up” is available now, March 9th on all streaming platforms. Written by Jamie Moore and John Byron, take a look below as we dig a little deeper into the track.

Rolling into 2021, Swag Spotlight artist Sean Stemaly is one of the artists we are most excited about. So far, each of his previous releases like “Come Back To Bed” and “Last Night All Day” have shown different sides of the singer-songwriter’s personality and craft. His newest song, “Hello, You Up” deepens our respect for Stemaly’s unique style and talent.

“Hello, You Up” is a clever, quasi-break-up song that we can all relate to. The track paints the picture of an on-again/off-again couple that are missing each other. Utilizing the ever-popular phrase “Hello, You Up,” Stemaly creates a song that feels meaningful; despite, the usually insidious sentiment. The new music video amplifies the song, giving visuals to the couple and their will they/won’t they narrative.

“Girl I’m just a Hello, you up, do you wanna come over? / I know you think that I probably ain’t sober / I’m just alone and I’m missin’ your shoulder away / Yeah I’m just an I know we said that we needed some space but / I don’t want nobody else in your place / When we said goodbye, well maybe we made a mistake / So if you’re awake, girl, I’m just a Hello, you up, do you wanna come over? away”

Stemaly continues to find a way to fuse his rhythmic style into a creative country song. His voice and the lyrics are definitely standouts on the new track.
