Drew Baldridge + Emily Ann Roberts Join Forces on “Get Me Gone”

Drew Baldridge and Emily Ann Roberts collaborate on brand new song, “Get Me Gone,” out now, July 25th on all streaming platforms. Listen to the brand new track below.

Chart-topping singer-songwriter, Drew Baldridge continues to share his musical prowess with the world. Today, the artist joins forces with the talented, Emily Ann Roberts on a brand new duet that is sure to make any country-music lover swoon. “Get Me Gone” is officially out now.

Written by Baldridge with songwriters, Josh Jenkins, Allison Veltz Cruz, Trannie Anderson, “Get Me Gone” pays homage to the classic country love song. Romantic, honest, and sexy, “Get Me Gone” portrays attraction effortlessly, with catchy lyrics to sing along to. Roberts and Baldridge trade verses throughout the song, adding to the vulnerability of the song.

“Let the tin roof keep catching that rain // Let these old boots tay by the door // Let me lose it just hearing you say // Tonight baby I’m yours // Let the neon be on somebody else out there // Yeah the high we wanna be on we ain’t gotta go nowhere // To get me gone like a nowhere wind // Gone like a pawnshop vinyl // Gone like an old coal train // A devil at a tent revival // Goner than that sinking sun // and the red dress you had on // Let the drink you in like whiskey //  Kiss me // get me, gone”

Both singers felt the song’s potential almost instantly. “As soon as I wrote this song, I knew it’d be a powerful duet. It took me a while to find the perfect voice for it, but one day I came across Emily Ann on social media and I loved her sound. So I just hopped in her DMs and asked if she’d collab with me! It’s been amazing to work with her on this song,” shared Baldridge in a recent press release.

“When Drew sent me the song I knew he had something special. I was honored he wanted to include me on it. ‘Get Me Gone’ immediately makes you think of the person you love and how you don’t need anything but them to have a good time,” added Roberts.

Make sure to listen to “Get Me Gone” ASAP!
