NYCountry Swag Are Guests on FanLabel Podcast: Play The Music

FanLabel, a brand new app that allows you to create a roster of artists and become a music mogul, based on your favorite artists and songs. Allowing you to pick which song you think is going to be the next big hit, Fan Label lets you join daily music contests and earn virtual Royalties as you rise to the top of the leaderboards.

Featuring all genres from rock to indie, to hip hop and OF COURSE, country, FanLabel features the songs that you love and new contests each day for you to participate in. Listen to the full podcast below.

Christina and Stephanie of NYCountry Swag were featured on the 8th episode of the Play The Music Podcast, where they discussed the rise of country music in New York City, how their company has helped to cultivate a community of country music fans and of course, curated a ‘Genre Benders’ playlist for the hosts to listen to.

The theme of Fan Label is to pick which song you think is going to do best, we chose 5 songs from the country music genre that pull from other genres, discussed each of the songs and helped the hosts make their pick for the week. We chose “The Git Up” by Blanco Brown, “The Bones” by Maren Morris feat. Hozier, “One Thing Right” by Kane Brown feat. Marshmello, “Kinfolks” by Sam Hunt and “10,000 Hours” by Dan + Shay feat. Justin Bieber.

Top 10 NYCountry Swag Moments of 2017 – #6: The Hero Collection Launch…

Rolling through our Top 10 New York Country Swag Favorite Moments of 2017, we come to #6: The Hero Collection Launch. 

One of our proudest moments of 2017 was rolling out a brand new line of merchandise called, The Hero Collection. The Hero Collection by New York Country Swag is a line of merchandise inspired by the men and women of the Military, Fire & Police Departments across the country. We are dedicated to honoring their service and remembering their sacrifice.

The blue line supports our police departments, while the red supports fire departments. Our camo flag design supports the military. Various versions of the designs are available on different styles of hats including flexfits, ballcaps and snapbacks. As well as graphics printed on our pullover hoodies.

Each month, we donate 10% of each sale from this collection to different organizations and foundations affiliated with fire & police departments nationwide. After our launch in May 2017, we raised funds for several organizations like The FDNY Captain Timothy Stackpole Foundation, ANSWER THE CALL – New York Police & Fire Widows’ & Children’s Benefit Fund, Building Homes For Heroes and Team Rubicon.

Our favorite part of having our own country music inspired merchandise is seeing our followers rockin’ their swag and being tagged in pictures.  Knowing we had an impact by donating to these incredible charities while sporting American pride and supporting our Heroes makes this line even more special.  To grab your own New York Country Swag gear and pieces from our Hero Collection shop here. 

We are looking forward to adding new designs to this collection in 2018 and working with different foundations to help share the stories of our Heroes.
