Megan Moroney Goes Number One with “6 Months Later”

Megan Moroney goes number one at country radio with her single, “6 Months Later”. Get all the details about the song here.

We coined Megan Moroney an absolute superstar in the making when she earned her first number one single at country radio with “Tennessee Orange.” She impressed yet again when the lead single and title track of her sophomore album Am I Okay? reached the top of the chats too. Today, Moroney earns her third number one at country radio with “6 Months Later.”

As we await Moroney’s third studio album, Cloud 9, out in February, she already boasts a number one single from the record. “6 Months Later.” depicts the singer’s broken-heart, only to later reveal, that she’s on the mend (and now the guy wants her back). The new song is fun, and stage-ready, a perfect addition of Moroney’s impressive catalog of songs.

“Let me set you the scene // November circa 2019 // Put a hole in my heart, watched it bleed // You said that we were better off as strangers // I was barely alive // Out of 6 feet deep I was 5 // Pretty sure they called a hearse outside // Ok that’s dramatic but I survived…then I survived // The ”Hey Meg I think I want you back, // I’m a couple drinks in thinking it’s my bad // That I let you walk away and let you go” // It’s a tale as old as time I guess // When you couldn’t care more, I couldn’t care less // You’re a little too late to the party, heartbreaker // What doesn’t kill you calls you 6 months later”
Congratulations to Megan and her team on scoring their third number one at country radio with “6 Months Later.” There will definitely be more to come.
