Country music trio, Just Jayne are an act to look out for. The three badass women have talent that rivals any group in the industry right now. While the singer-songwriters come from different places (Georgia, New York, California/Arkansas), when they come together they create magic and connect us all to universal experiences. Today Just Jayne releases their debut EP, simply titled Jayne.
According to the songstress’, “On paper, our stories looked nothing alike but every time we sat down to write, we found ourselves connecting to the same feelings, the same heartbreaks, the same dreams, and the same experiences. That’s where Jayne came from. We created the name by taking pieces of our own names and building something new together. Jayne became a character that represented all of us, but she also became someone much bigger than us. Jayne is every girl, she’s your best friend, your big sister, the girl you look up to, the girl who’s figuring it out. The more songs we wrote, the more we realized that if three girls from completely different backgrounds could all see themselves in the same stories, there was a good chance a lot of other girls could too.”
When it comes to the EP, Jayne reflects exactly that. The ladies said it best, “Finding yourself in these songs and realizing you’re not alone in what you’re feeling. We’ve loved creating the world of Jayne and inviting you into it. And the best part is we’re only getting started.” Make sure to listen and support Jayne ASAP!
