Jordan Davis
We love reminiscing about all the great country music to hit country radio over the last few years. In our brand new series, we’re looking back on the songs that made it to the top of the country airplay charts. Today, we’re highlighting songs in Jordan Davis’ career that hit the number one spot as an artist.
“Singles You Up” – Home State, 2017
When Jordan Davis bursted on to the scene with “Singles You Up,” it was clear that he was a superstar in the making. Since then, we’ve been proven right.
“Take It From Me” – Home State, 2018
Jordan Davis’ second single off his record, Home State, “Take It From Me” continued to showcase Davis’ undeniable talent as both a singer and as a songwriter. The song is still one of Davis’ fan-favorite songs and for good reason!
“Slow Does in a Parking Lot” – Home State, 2019
Jordan Davis’ first slow song at country radio, “Slow Dance in a Parking Lot” is as romantic as romantic gets especially for his debut album. The track found its way to the top of the country charts in 2019.
“Buy Dirt” ft. Luke Bryan – Buy Dirt | Bluebird Days, 2021
Arguably one of Jordan Davis’ biggest songs to date, “Buy Dirt,” a collaboration with Luke Bryan took country radio and country fans by storm from the moment it was released. The song speaks to how important love is and how unimportant “things are.” It’s still to this day one of the most prolific moments at a Davis concert.
“What My World Spins Around” – Bluebird Days, 2022
Another fan-favorite, “What My World Spins Around” made it to the top of the country radio charts in 2022. The song is catchy, honest, and fun to listen to – making it a perfect song to becoming a chart-topper for Davis.
“Next Thing You Know” – Bluebird Days, 2023
“Next Thing You Know” off of Bluebird Days had similar impact to “Buy Dirt.” The single speaks to Davis’ family man side of his life, and it truly touched fans everywhere. It was a shoe in for a number one single from the moment it was released.
“Tucson Too Late” – Bluebird Days, 2023
Written by Davis with heavy-hitters, brother, Jacob Davis and Josh Jenkins and Matt Jenkins, “Tucson Too Late” is the fourth single off Davis’ sophomore album, Bluebird Days. The track is the perfect song for the singer. It touches on the emotions associated with letting someone you love slip through your fingers. Another perfect song for Davis’ catalog.
“I Ain’t Sayin’” – Learn the Hard Way, 2024
I Ain’t Sayin’” is arguably one of Davis’ most impressive up-tempo songs. He even shared the song live for fans at MetLife Stadium on July 20th, 2024 prior to its release. Much like his debut singles, “Singles You Up,” the number one song leans into the bad-boy persona, while still having that sweet and confident charisma that we all have grown to love from the now, family-man. We knew “I Ain’t Sayin’” was an instant hit!
“Bar None” – Learn the Hard Way, 2025
rior to the album’s release, Davis celebrated the single at Common Country, where he popped-up and played bartender for fans, while his song blasted on the speakers. From that moment, it was clear that “Bar None” was going to be a. hit. With a unique musical flair, the single is one of Davis’ catchiest songs to date. It’s honest, flirty, fun, and authentic; despite, some of the melancholy, broken-heart lyrics.
