From just one listen, it is easy to tell that “Am I The Only One” is an emotional song that explores all the nuances of growing up. Feeling like a song straight out of a diary entry, the new single feels raw and vulnerable. Throughout the song, Hopkins wonders if she is the only one who is having a hard time getting older and watching things change.
