A quiet yet heart-punching slow song, “Daughter” is an incredibly vulnerable song with edge. While it may appear at first that Nichols is just singing a sad song about getting her heart broken, the karmic messaging throughout is truly outrageous in the best possible way. “Daughter” is one of those songs that will truly stop you in your tracks and make you listen two, three, more times. Lyrics aside, Nichols vocals are on full display on the raw, yet spicy new track.
