Cole Swindell Releases New Track “Drinkin’ Hours”
This week Cole Swindell announced his fifth Down Home Session EP slated for release later this year and plans to release a new song over the next five months. Swindell is kicking things off with the track “Drinkin’ Hours.”
If you’ve had the chance to be a part of the Down Home VIP during Luke Bryan’s Sunset Repeat Tour already, you may have gotten an early listen. A member of our team heard the song when the tour kicked off in Camden, NJ and right away knew it had contention to be the song of the summer.
The song is upbeat, sharing the story of how we all look forward to the end of the workday, especially on a Friday. Who hasn’t been guilty of staring at the clock and counting down until happy hour? It’s a reminder that we all need, the weekends are meant to be enjoyed, not meant to worry about work.
“No workin’ durin’ drinkin’ hours/Round here we ain’t got no boss/Part time and over timers/’Bout to raise a little hell when we twist one off”.
This is the artist’s first new music release for 2019, following the release of his album All of It. Swindell is currently on the Sun Set Repeat tour with Jon Langston and Luke Bryan, and it’s a show you cannot miss! They’ll be stopping in Jones Beach in less than a month for two days! Get your tickets to July 13th here and July 14th here! Get your tickets here! If you can’t make the show at Jones Beach, don’t worry. They’ll be coming to Holmdel, NJ September 7th.
