Clare Dunn Drops Two New Songs “Gold To Glitter” & “Money’s All Gone”

Clare Dunn delighted the masses with the 2 in 1 gift released Friday, October 18th, with two brand new singles “Gold To Glitter” and “Money’s All Gone.” Both singles follow up the MCA/Universal Nashville’s artist’s makeover of her song “My Love” heavily satisfying an R&B love.

“Gold To Glitter” pays homage to the singer- songwriter’s birthplace of her family’s farm in small-town Colorado calling attention to its grace and humble teachings highlighting the singer’s soulful, gritty voice and masterly hooks. A geographical home is only a foundation for something more and beauty can be found everywhere. “‘Gold to Glitter’ is about watching the golden sunset turn into the glittery, star-filled, wide-open night sky that I grew up under,” she said in a press release. “Sunset has always been my favorite time of day, and the sunsets I grew up watching were spectacular.”

“Money’s All Gone” conscientiously compliments “Gold To Glitter” and vice versa offering its rush of rock influences and eccentric electric guitar fretwork. Dunn often accredits her love of rock n roll for prompting her sounds and this is one of them. This rock n roll attributed to her childhood personality, attitudes and road trips with hardly any money to spare with her sister. She stated: “We’d have fun until the money was all gone, then head home. It was the norm for kids who grew up where I’m from.”

She sings: “Baby, we ain’t got all night so now what you say? / Let’s start a little something / Something outta nothing / I’ll get you what you want / And so come on now let’s get on it / Go all the way / We ain’t hanging ’round forever anyway / Gonna spend it like it’s borrowed / Till tonight’s tomorrow / Till the very last song / Till the money’s all gone”

The “Tuxedo” singer recently opened up for Bob Seger on his Ride Out Tour and was apart of CMT’s 2019 Next Women of Country Tour with Cassadee Pope and Hannah Ellis.
