Here Are All of Carly Pearce’s Number One Songs in Her Catalog

Here are all Carly Pearce’s number one songs on country radio in his music catalog. The singer-songwriter has four number ones to her name.

We love reminiscing about all the great country music to hit country radio over the last few years. In our brand new series, we’re looking back on the songs that made it to the top of the country airplay charts. Today, we’re highlighting songs in Carly Pearce’s career that hit the number one spot.

“Every Little Thing” – Every Little Thing, 2017

Pearce’s debut radio single had a long journey to number one, taking almost nine months to top the charts after its release. Pearce sings about how the highs and lows of her former relationship haunt her, making it hard for her to move on.

“I Hope You’re Happy Now” – Carly Pearce + Lee Brice – Carly Pearce, 2020

Pearce’s double-Platinum smash hit features fellow country music singer-songwriter, Lee Brice. The two play the roles of a man and woman who just recently broke up, sharing their perspectives.

Never Wanted to Be That Girl” – Carly Pearce + Ashley McBryde – 29: Written In Stone, 2022

A cheating song told from two women’s perspectives, “Never Wanted To Be That Girl” marks Pearce’s third number-one single. The track features singer-songwriter, Ashley McBryde, as the two powerhouse vocalists, and co-writers on the track, swap lines giving voice to the characters in the relatable story.

“What He Didn’t Do” – 29: Written In Stone, 2023

Pearce is a pro at creating art out of heartbreak. “What He Didn’t Do” personifies that. The song is a true power anthem; despite, the heartbreak that it conveys. Pearce knows how to turn true pain into a musical masterpiece.

It is about time that Carly Pearce and Ashley McBryde’s killer duet, “Never Wanted To Be That Girl” found its way to the top of the country charts! The song has been a fan-favorite for quite some time now, even earning nominations at various award shows. The number one marks the third top track for Pearce and the first for McBryde.

“Never Wanted To Be That Girl” tells the heart-wrenching story of two women loving the same man.  Written by the songstresses with Shane McAnally, the song is undeniably catchy and poignant. The back and forth nature of the story makes for an enticing listen, every time. Pearce and McBryde prove that women in country music are absolute superstars!

“I never wanted to be that girl // I never wanted to hate myself // I thought this kind of lonely only happens to somebody else // Bein’ the other one when there’s another one // God, this feels like hell // Thought I knew who I was, but it’s gettin’ hard to tell // I never wanted to be that girl”

Cole Swindell & Lainey Wilson’s Song “Never Say Never” Goes #1

Cole Swindell and Lainey Wilson’s song “Never Say Never” officially goes number one at country radio this week. Check out the #1 song here…

Collaborations are all the rage in country music right now! Last week, Dierks Bentley, HARDY, and BRELAND’s song “Beers On Me,” found its way to the top of the country charts. Today, Cole Swindell and Lainey Wilson’s killer duet, “Never Say Never” is number one.

Back in November, Swindell and Wilson mesmerized fans with their unexpected, but perfect collaboration. Written by Swindell, Jessi Alexander, and Chase McGill the edgy track starts out with a guitar before Wilson sings the first line, “I told my momma” followed by Swindell with “I told my friends.” The two continue to trade lines, until the chorus. Eventually, the singers begin to harmonize in the chorus.

“I never say never with you // I end up together with you // It’s Hell, and it’s Heaven with you, baby // anything’s possible // the highs are unstoppable // it’s so uncontrollable, it’s crazy // we say we won’t, and then we do // you’re all I want // I never say never with you”

“Never Say Never” marks the eleventh number-one single for Swindell and the second for Wilson in her young career. Congrats to the entertainers on the #1!

Dierks Bentley, BRELAND & HARDY Hit #1 with “Beers On Me”

Dierks Bentley, BRELAND, and HARDY’s song “Beers On Me” officially goes number one at country radio this week. Check out the #1 song here…

Back in July, Dierks Bentley floored us with a mega collaboration. The superstar shared the spotlight with two incredible rising artists, BRELAND and HARDY. The three entertainers impressed on “Beers On Me,” which is now the number one song at country radio.

“Beers On Me” is a feel good song! It is no wonder that both radio and its fans fell in love with it. Each artist brought something different to the song. Bentley provided the consistency, while HARDY brought the country-rock element to the song. BRELAND provided even more differentiation, adding a little bit of country-trap to the talking parts of one of the verses.

“Come on down // swing on by // Bring whatever’s been on your mind // Locals on tap / and bottles on ice // livin’ on feel-good standard time // My card’s on the bar // you’ve got nowhere to be // If you don’t come through // buddy, that’s on you // ‘cause the beer’s on me”

This is a major accomplishment for all three of the men. Congrats all around on the #1!

Parker McCollum Hits Number One With “To Be Loved By You”

Parker McCollum’s song “To Be Loved By You” is the number one song at country radio. Read about McCollum’s second number-one single and check out an exclusive video of him performing the number one hit below…

On the heels of winning his first ACM Award, New Male Artist of the Year and 2020 Country Swag Artist to Watch, Parker McCollum is celebrating again! The rising artist earned his second number one single at country radio with his song “To Be Loved By You.” The track follows his hit “Pretty Heart.”

A little over a year since its release, “To Be Loved By You” steadily made its way to the top of the charts. The song speaks to the vulnerable side of McCollum’s artistry. The singer is already a bonafide superstar in Texas, it is just a matter of time before the rest of the country catches up. We predict that soon enough, McCollum will be a mainstay in mainstream country music.

“So why are you always angry? // Why are you always quiet? // Why do you sleep alone // When I know you don’t like it? // Maybe you might be different // Will it kill you to tell me the truth? // What in the hell does a man // Have to do, to be loved by you?”

If “Pretty Heart” and “To Be Loved By You” are any inclination, fans and radio alike love McCollum’s heartfelt and brooding songs. We look forward to what’s next from the rising artist! Congrats to McCollum and his team on their number one!

Perfectly timed for Women’s History month, Kelsea Ballerini has landed at the number one spot. This week, Ballerini’s song, “half of my hometown” featuring Kenny Chesney is the number one song at country radio.

The song is one of the songstress’ most vulnerable to date. It portrays the back-and-forth feelings of wanting to stay in your comfort zone, but also wanting to improve. The duet nature of the song with Chesney amplifies the already incredible track. Although unexpected, the collaboration was the perfect fit for the song.

“In their daddy’s Ford // Half of my main street’s mini skirts // Half of my main street’s dressed for church // It could use some rain and a fresh coat of paint // Half of my hometown’s still hangin’ around // Still talkin’ about that one touchdown // They’re still wearin’ red and black”
