Brantley Gilbert Announces Fire’t Up Tour with Dylan Scott & Chase Rice
Along with releasing the opening track from his forthcoming fifth studio album, Fire & Brimstone, Brantley Gilbert has also announced the ‘Fire’t Up Tour’ which is hitting 34 cities across the U.S and Canada. Kicking off on January 23rd in London, Ontario, Gilbert is bringing along Dylan Scott, Chase Rice, and Brandon Lay as direct support on select dates.
Scott and Rice are both celebrated songwriters and recording artists and round out this tour, both bringing their unique brand and style of country music to the BG Nation across the country. Brandon Lay, who will warm up the crowd through the winter.
Gilbert shared on Instagram this morning, “I always say that my albums are chapters of my life…. Every album I release I try to cover every aspect of who I am and that’s especially true with #fireandbrimstone…. This album is where I’ve been and where I am…. If you liked Modern Day Prodigal Son, there’s a lot of faith in this one…. If you liked You Don’t Know Her Like I Do, well now I’m married to that girl…. If you liked the way we were partyin back then, y’all we’re still doing it…. Get the new song #firetup when you listen and preorder the new album everywhere now…. Link in bio to preorder #bgnation”
The new track, available everywhere today kicks off the album with a bang, unlike the previously released, “Man That Hung The Moon”, “Fire’t Up” throws it back to classic Gilbert, talking about throwing it down in a small town. Fire and Brimstone, releasing on October 4th features fifteen songs, all co-written by Gilbert as well as collaborations with some of the genre’s biggest names, Lindsay Ell, Willie Nelson, Alison Krauss, Jamey Johnson, Lukas Nelson, and Colt Ford.
