4th Of July Country Hits Spotify Playlist

4th of July American Playlist

Country artists are very proud of the town they grew up in and the flag they salute. Often times, they will take that pride and turn it into a song. In honor of Independence Day, we’ve compiled a list of your favorite country songs about the place we call home! Narrowed down of course (the list would be never-ending), here are 13 songs to include on your July 4th playlist!

“American Spirit” – Thomas Rhett
It’s proud of where you from / It’s your last name / It’s thirteen stripes and fifty stars in the wind / So hold up your beer and holler if you hear it / That American spirit

“It’s America” – Rodney Atkins
It’s a high school prom, it’s a Springsteen song, it’s a ride in a Chevrolet / It’s a man on the moon and fireflies in June and kids selling lemonade /Its cities and farms, it’s open arms, one nation under God / It’s America

“Young in America” – Danielle Bradberry
Whoa-oh, oh, oh, the open road / Air to breathe, the sun is shining down / Oh whoa, it’s you and me / In the land of the free / So baby, let’s run while we’re young in America

“My Where I Come From” – Kane Brown
So if I just won’t turn down on a Saturday night / And if I never learned how to back down from a fight / And if I take my hat off for the stars and the stripes / And If I just can’t seem to shut it down / That’s just my “where I come from” comin’ out

“American Country Love Song” – Jake Owen
In the back of an old Ford truck / In the bar, just looking for love / In a pair of oh my blue eyes, let them fireworks start / That American country love song

“All American Girl” – Carrie Underwood
Now he’s wrapped around her finger / She’s the center of his whole world / And his heart belongs to that sweet little / Beautiful, wonderful, perfect All-American girl

“America Kids” – Kenny Chesney
Growin’ up in little pink houses / Makin’ out on living room couches / Blowin’ that smoke on a Saturday night / A little messed up, but we’re all alright

“Home” – Dierks Bentley
From the mountains high / To the wave crashed coast / There’s a way to find / Better days I know / It’s been a long hard ride / Got a ways to go / But this is still the place / That we all call home

“American Honey” – Lady Antebellum
There’s a wild, wild whisper blowin’ in the wind / Callin’ out my name like a long lost friend / Oh, I miss those days as the years go by / Oh, nothin’ sweeter than summertime /And American honey

“Chicken Fried” – Zac Brown Band
Salute the ones who died / The ones that give their lives so we don’t have to sacrifice / All the things we love / Like our chicken fried / And cold beer on a Friday night

“American Saturday Night” – Brad Paisley
It’s a French kiss, Italian ice / Margaritas in the moonlight (whoa-oh-oh-oh) / Just another American Saturday night
