Dylan Scott Announces New Album + Shares New Song “I Hate Whiskey”

Dylan Scott announces brand new album and shares new song, “I Hate Whiskey,” out now, March 28th, on all streaming platforms. Listen to the brand new track below.

Country star, Dylan Scott is back with new music, announcing his third full-length studio album, Easy Does It, out May 30 and now available for pre-order/save. The 11-track project will feature three previously released tracks as well a brand new song, released today, “I Hate Whiskey.”

Written by Taylor Phillips, Jon Kraft, Jaxson Free, and Michael Ray, the lyrics find the singer struggling with whiskey, as it’s the only alcohol that evokes memories of a past love. “I Hate Whiskey” blends classic pop-country with a touch of modern flair, featuring Scott’s nostalgic twang and a faded a steel guitar layered over a trap beat.

It doesn’t burn your memory, it just lights it up // I hate whiskey ‘cause it only gets me drunk on you, on us

“This album is a collection of songs that I love and felt strongly about releasing,” Scott shared in a recent press release. “For me, the phrase ‘easy does it’ represents where I’m at in my life right now. I’ve spent so much time in the past focusing on what I was going to do next in my career, comparing myself to my peers and worrying about what others needed from me. But now, having kids and being married has allowed me to see what I have right in front of me and embrace it. Don’t get me wrong, I’m still working hard. But I am more comfortable with myself and my career than ever before, which has made life so much easier.”

Easy Does It Track List:

  1. What He’ll Never Have (Dylan Scott, Logan Robinson, Ricky Rowton, Robbie Gatlin)
  2. I Hate Whiskey (Taylor Phillips, Michael Ray, Jon Kraft, Jaxson Free)
  3. Easy Does It (Chris DuBois, Jeb Gipson, Jordan Gray)
  4. This Town’s Been Too Good To Us (Dylan Scott, Ashley Gorley, Ryan Vojtesak, John Bryon, Taylor Phillips)
  5. Twice (Charlie Handsome, Jaxson Free, John Byron, Taylor Phillips)
  6. Country Till I Die (Benjamin Joel Johnson, Taylor Phillips, Ryan Vojtesak, John Byron)
  7. Back Forty (Adam Craig, Kyle Clark, Patrick Murphy)
  8. Smoke Follows Beaut (Danny Majic, Jessie Alexander, Jordan Gray, Trannie Anderson)
  9. You’d Think I Was A Cowboy (Dylan Scott, Will Weatherly, Jaxson Free, Michael Whitworth)
  10. Till I Can’t, I Will (Dylan Scott, Taylor Phillips, Jesse Frasure, Chase McGill, Ashley Gorley)
  11. I Owe You One (Morgan Wallen, Ashley Gorley, Mark Holman, Ernest K. Smith)

The hitmaker from Louisiana is still riding the high of his latest album, Livin’ My Best Life (Still)”,  with “This Town’s Been Too Good To Us” in the top-5 at country radio and (still) climbing. Scott will perform these songs and more on the road this spring, stopping in New York City on April 5. For tickets and the full schedule, head to his website.

“She’s a casino I’m a stone cold joker that keeps on throwing dice // Spinning a wheel putting it all on red but the house wins every time // Queen of breaking my heart been counting my cards // I should leave but I won’t // I’m a sucker for another hand // And one more dance with this damn casino”

Zach John King Shares Honest New Song “I Deserve a Heartbreak”

Zach John King shares new song, “I Deserve a Heartbreak”, out now, March 28th, on all streaming platforms. Listen to the brand new track below.

With each and every release, Zach John King is showcasing his star power.  He impresses fans and industry alike with his music and his undeniable talent. Today, the singer-songwriter debuts his newest song, “I Deserve a Heartbreak.”

“I wrote ‘I Deserve a Heartbreak’ about how breakups are rarely fair. One person always seems to carry more of the pain, and I’ve realized they don’t break evenly,” shared the singer in a recent press release. “We wanted to write a song that asks—if everything shook out fairly and I got back exactly what I gave—would I deserve the same heartbreak that I caused? It’s a classic country story told from a fresh perspective, and we’re really proud of the production. I pulled in a lot of my indie rock influences on this one, and there’s a huge breakdown in the middle that feels really unique. I don’t think you’ll hear this sound anywhere else.”

“There’s a man standing in the mirror // Where a wild boy used to be // That’s done some wising up from // Him treating you that way // Let you rain down all them tears // Mascara all on them sheets // Let you think it was all your fault // When I’m the one to blame // If what goes around comes around // Baby, right now my whole world would be headed south // I deserve me a heartbreak, straight up breaking down in the driveway”

“I Deserve a Heartbreak” is one of the most unique songs to come from the country genre this year. While it embodies story-telling at its finest, the ability to delve into heartbreak in a new way feels new and exciting. It truly a song coming from a fresh perspective, as King shared.

Zach John King is the real deal! “I Deserve a Heartbreak” is the start of more to come.

Jordan Davis Shares Brand New Song “Bar None”

Jordan Davis shares new song “Bar None,” out now, March 28th, on all streaming platforms. Listen to the brand new track below.

Time and time again, we sing Jordan Davis praises! Davis is one of the most consist artists in country music right now, continuously cranking out hits that are both honest and fun. While we tend to love everything the singer-songwriter puts out, Davis seems to be on top of his game with his newest releases. Today, he shares his newest song, “Bar None.”

With a unique musical flair, “Bar None” is one of Davis’ catchiest songs to date. The song has everything we have come to love from a Davis song. It’s honest, flirty, fun, and authentic; despite, some of the melancholy, broken-heart lyrics.

“If it weren’t your tires leaving me in the dust // If you weren’t the kind that you only find once // Then the burn of this bourbon wouldn’t be hurting so bad // Yeah, you were for certain the best thing I ever had // Bar, none // Now I’m gettin’ goner than your long-gone boots // Nothin’ I’m workin’ on works on you // I’ve been breakin’ every bottle open // Doin’ what a banged up, broken heart does // I’m gonna need three or four more // Baby, if a movin’ on had a scoreboard // It’d say, “You and your memory, one” // “Me and this bar, none””

“Bar None” will keep Jordan Davis fans excited for what’s to come! The song feels like a continuation of a new era of music for the singer, and we cannot wait to see what comes down the pipeline next!

Country music is at its absolute best right now. Justin Schools is one of those artists. The singer-songwriter is incredibly talented at blending his 90s country sound with rock, giving fans a new sound to fall in love with. Today, he releases his newest song, “Hurt Like That.”

Lyrically, the song describes how it feels to watch your ex move on so fast after the break-up. Despite the lyrics, “Hurt Like That” feels like a song to jam out too. Schools finds a way to deliver a song with grit and emotion, while still making the single a song you want to scream-sing too. “Hurt Like That” is honest, raw, and fun all at the same time.

“It’s kinda crazy // I didn’t know that it was gonna hurt like that // when you slammed that door // Put the pedal through the floor // In your get away Ford, yeah I knew you’d move on // but damn you move fast girl, I guess I should known // but I didn’t know that its as gonna hurt like that”

Hudson Westbrook Shares New Song “Weatherman”

Hudson Westbrook shares new song, “Weatherman,” out now, March 21st on all streaming platforms. Listen to the brand new track below.

Hudson Westbrook is a rising star in country music right now. His music is rooted in his traditional Texas upbringing and incredible songwriting. His songs and stories have grit, emotion, and the “it factor.” While we loved the singer’s 2025 debut, “Mine Tomorrow,” Westbrook’s newest single, “Weatherman” is just as incredible.

Written by Westbrook, Lukas Scott, Neil Medley, Reid Haughton, and Beau Bailey, Weatherman” is a clever new song. The new song puts a twist on a typical break-up song, blaming a local weatherman for a love temp-check gone wrong. “Weatherman” feels fun, honest, and raw all at the same time.

“She brought the rain, rain brought the pain // Pain brought the bottle I was sipping on straight // Ain’t on you but you caught the blame // Hey weatherman, hey weatherman // Woke up this morning in boots and jeans // Living room lit by the TV screen // Channel 5 news, it was you and me // Hey weatherman // You said it was gonna be a bluebird day // So nice it’ll take the blues away // Look outside, it was nothing but grey // Hey weatherman”

“Weatherman” is the perfect song to add to your musical playlist and another incredible song for Westbrook to add to his growing catalog of songs.

John Morgan Shares New Song “Kid Myself” Ahead of Debut Album

John Morgan shares new song, “Kid Myself,” out now, March 21st on all streaming platforms. Listen to the brand new track below.

With each and every release, John Morgan proves just how talented he is as a songwriter and as an artist. His debut album, Carolina Blue is slated for release on April 25th. Until then, fans can enjoy the sneak peaks of the record. Today, the singer-songwriter shares a new song off the project called, “Kid Myself.”

Arguably our favorite John Morgan song to date, “Kid Myself” is clever, honest, and vulnerable. The song depicts how it feels to want a relationship to work, but realizing that you’re just not on the same timeline. In other words, everyone grows up at different rates. Morgan’s stunning vocals are on full effect through the song, but its the killer wordplay that we appreciate the most about the song.

“I don’t want to kid myself // Thinking the last kiss wasn’t the last // You probably would’ve called by now // if you ever wanted this boy back // But I don’t want to kid myself // Girl I was just a kid myself // Didn’t know better than to wish you well // Baby if you never could tell // I ain’t proud of how it all went back // if I could I’d take it all back now // I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t wishing you were missing me like hell // but I don’t want to kid myself”

Morgan continues to showcase why he is an up and coming artist to look out for in country music. Definitely keep him on your radar!

Naomi Johnson Shares New Song “Bricks Make Houses”

Naomi Johnson releases new song “Bricks Make Houses,” out now, March 21st, on all streaming platforms. Listen to the brand new track below.

There are plenty of hardworking artists in Nashville that reinvent themselves often. Naomi Johnson (formerly of Runaway June) is one oft those incredible singer-songwriters. While Johnson has always been a pure talent in the industry, 2025 is slated to be the year that she steps out in her true authenticity. Today, the songstress re-introduces herself with a brand new song called “Bricks Make Houses.”

Johnson and her nine brothers and sisters grew up living in a school bus with their two parents, sleeping on plywood shelves with no AC or plumbing. “Bricks Make Houses” was created out of that experience. The powerful new song showcases the unconventional life that Johnson lived growing up. Despite that, the songstress created a song that anyone can relate to. It’s a story of love and family, truly making a home.

“We were barely getting by // but we forgot most of the time // We weren’t broken, we were just a little broke // and I feel rich now looking back // because who, not what we had // I learned love ain’t built with stacks of painted stone // Bricks make houses // people make homes”

2025 feels like the year for Johnson! “Bricks Make Houses” is one of the most strikingly honest songs of the year so far. We are excited for the singer’s next release and upcoming debut solo album that is slated for release later this year.
